The surrounding Walla Walla landscape is inspirational in driving much of the art produced in the studio.
Greg and Twila produce both functional and nonfunctional art.
Greg and Twila Tate have the commonality of being visual artists who work with the landscape we live in or desire to live in. Recording and documenting our surroundings, we take the images back to our studio where we develop our interpretation of the surrounding region in very different ways.
Using a variety of mediums and processes such as: clay, painting, photography, printmaking, collage and sculpture along with abstract and representational images to capture the lush colors, textures and forms of space.
